From Paul Simon and Sting’s unique joint tour to live solo returns from Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z to the Jingle Ball’s array of Billboard chart-toppers, Boston’s live music calendar this winter can boast a whole host of superstars from the worlds of pop, R&B, hip-hop, country and classic rock. Here’s a look at seven major acts who have released Boston concert tickets for shows over the next few months.
After concluding the first North American leg of her lengthy The Truth About Love world tour at Boston’s TD Garden back in March, superstar Pink will return to the same venue on December 5 for another feast of feisty pop-rock. The Cirque du Soleil-inspired show features all the hits from her current and first ever Billboard chart-topping album (“Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” “Try,” “Just Give Me A Reason”) alongside several of her classic hits and an impressive display of choreography, acrobatics and visual effects. Pink tickets are available for this gig on TiqIQ at a get-in price of $117 and average price of $291.
Headlined by two of this year’s most talked-about stars, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke, TD Garden will then welcome the ninth date of iHeartRadio’s inaugural Jingle Ball tour on Dec 14. The X-Factor USA finalists Fifth Harmony, teen pop idol Austin Mahone and punk-pop trio Paramore are also confirmed to perform at the star-studded festive celebration alongside the likes of Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Enrique Iglesias and Flo Rida, with Jingle Ball tickets still on offer on TiqIQ at a get-in price of $78 and average price of $323.
Two nights before wrapping up her mammoth 107-date The Mrs Carter Show World Tour in New York, the former Destiny’s Child star will perform her penultimate gig at TD Garden with Beyoncé tickets still up for grabs at a get-in price of $102 and average price of $257. Alongside several new tracks from her much-anticipated fifth studio album, fans with tickets can also look forward to hearing number ones “Crazy In Love” and “Irreplaceable,” girl power anthems “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” and “Run The World (Girls)” and epic ballads “Halo” and “If I Were A Boy.”
Beyoncé’s other half will then grace the TD Garden stage after the Christmas break when he brings his Magna Carter world tour into town on January 18 (get-in price $33/average price $145). Featuring a set-list spanning from 1996 debut Reasonable Doubt right up to this year’s Magna Carta… Holy Grail, the hip-hop legend’s first series of solo shows in four years will treat fans with Jay-Z tickets to a string of early classics (“Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem),” “Big Pimpin’”), his US number one “Empire State Of Mind” and solo versions of his collaborations with Justin Timberlake (“Holy Grail”), Kanye West & Rihanna (“Run This Town”) and Mr. Hudson (“Young Forever”).
Having recruited Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett for this year’s Night Train tour, CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Jason Aldean has now joined forces with Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr for the 2014 leg which stops off at Manchester’s Verizon Wireless Arena on Jan 30. Fans with Jason Aldean tickets (get-in price $138/average price $464) should look forward to hearing all the highlights from his first US No.1 album, Night Train, alongside several of his Hot Country Songs chart-toppers (“Dirt Road Anthem,” “She’s Country,” “Big Green Tractor”).
Capping off a triumphant musical comeback which has seen him score two US number one albums, embark on a series of shows with Jay-Z and briefly reunite with ‘N Sync at the MTV VMAs, Justin Timberlake will bring his first solo headlining tour in four years to TD Garden on February 27. Alongside material from his two volumes of The 20/20 Experience, fans with Justin Timberlake tickets should also expect to hear US number ones “My Love,” “Sexyback” and “What Goes Around” and covers of Bell Biv Divoe’s “Poison,” Elvis Presley’s “Heartbreak Hotel” and Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature.” Boston concert tickets are still on sale on TiqIQ at a get-in price of $108 and average price of $277.

Friends for many years, Sting & Paul Simon are to hit the road together for the first time ever in 2014 with their unique joint tour stopping off at TD Garden on March 3. The two musical legends are each expected to deliver solo sets before teaming up on stage to play on each other’s material as they did with their recent charity benefit concert performance of “The Boxer” and “Fields Of Gold.” There are still thousands of Sting & Paul Simon tickets remaining on TiqIQ with a get-in price of $85 and average price of $295.
