Well, well, well. Look who is still alive in the round of 32. The Harvard Crimson can celebrate their first-round victory, but have a daunting task ahead of them. They take on Michigan State today, one of the favorites to win this crazy tournament. You can watch the game live here: http://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live
Three Keys for Harvard
- Guard the three-point line. Michigan State loves to shoot the three, mainly in transition. Gary Harris and company can really shoot it from long distance, and Harvard has too watch that line all game long.
- Try and get Laurent Rivard going early. He is the Crimson’s best three-point shooter, and if he can get off to a good start, Rivard can help his team fend off any early run the Spartans may throw at them. If he is cold, or doesn’t hit one or two treys in the first half, Harvard will be in trouble.
- Make them work for it. There are so many ways Michigan State can get easy buckets. Throw two bodies as the Spartan big men, cheat on defense after a teammate’s shot goes up. Whatever they can do to limit any freebies by State will keep them closer in the last four minutes.
This game starts at 8:40 p.m. EST on TNT. Check out this link here: http://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live. It’s a good place to watch the Crimson steal one from Tom Izzo’s boys.
