Location: MTS Center

Time: 8 p.m.

The Boston Bruins will be in Winnipeg Thursday’s night to battle the Jets for the second and final time this season. The teams have not faced-off in a great while. Boston beat Winnipeg back on Jan. 4 at TD Garden, 4-1. Torey Krug scored two goals in the win.

The Bruins are playoff bound and will look to extend their lead in the race for the President’s Trophy. They hold a slim lead over the Anaheim Ducks in points, 114-112.

Destined for an early offseason, the Jets will be playing for pride, as uncertainty surrounds the club moving forward. Winnipeg has played average hockey all season.

Jarome Iginla, Kevan Miller and David Krejci missed Tuesday’s game in Minnesota. Boston lost to the Wild in a shootout, 4-3. All three guys participated in practice Wednesday and will likely play.

Forward Ryan Spooner was recalled from Providence. He’ll get the nod from Claude Julien in the event one of the regulars is granted the night off. Spooner has skated in 22 NHL games this season.

Patrice Bergeron is riding a 12 game point streak. He’s tallied a total of 16 points, 10 of which are goals, during that span.

The Jets leading scorer, Blake Wheeler, has notched three assists in last two games. He has a total of 67 points on the season.

Chris Kelly will not play for the Bruins. He’s being held out of the lineup with a reported back issue. Dennis Seidenberg and Adam McQuaid have been skating in practice, but neither will play.
