Aaron Hernandez pleads not guilty to pair of Boston killings

Former New England Patriots star tight end Aaron Hernandez was arragined on seven seperate charges Wednesday, including two counts of first-degree murder.

Hernandez allegedly shot and killed both Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado back in July of 2012. Hernandez pled not guilty and was ordered held without bail by the judge.

Prosecutors said Hernandez, who was dancing at Boston’s Cure Lounge prior to the shootings, become enraged after Abreu bumped into him, spilling some of his drink.

It’s believed Hernandez’s friend convinced him to leave the club and pursue Abreu after his temper grew out of control, that according to Suffolk County district attorney Patrick Haggan.

Upon leaving the club, Hernandez trailed the two men, firing five gunshots into the BMW Abreu and Furtado were riding in, killing them both.

Hernandez is also facing additional charges in the fatal shooting of Odin Lloyd.
