1. Tom Brady – Quarterback
Tom Brady may not be worthy of a top-five selection as he was in year’s past, but he’s definitely one of the best bets at quarterback when it comes to fantasy football.
When it comes to Brady, his consistency must be valued. Week in and week out he’s a guy who performs well and puts up solid numbers through the air. He should post tremendous stats this season with a revamped defense backing him.
Scrambling quarterbacks are susceptible to injury. We’ve seen Robert Griffin III go down in the past and most recently Cam Newton in last week’s preseason contest with the Patriots. Brady is a pocket passer who projects to throw a lot of touchdowns.
Aside from Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck and Drew Brees, there’s no better quarterback to rely on than Brady when points are on the line.
Projections: 4,700 yards, 36 touchdowns, 8 interceptions
