New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski knows he will be facing a big challenge going up against the Seattle Seahawks defense.

There will be three great tight ends taking the field when the Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night.  In his press conference Thursday, Rob Gronkowski talked about teammate Martellus Bennett, Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham and the tough challenge he will face going up against Seattle’s physical secondary.

Coming off a bye week, the Patriots’ offense is well rested.  The Seahawks are coming off a tough Monday night game, but that doesn’t mean it will be an easy night for the Patriots.  Gronkowski knows Seattle will be a physical test and certainly a challenge.

More from New England Patriots

"“It’s a very big challenge,” Gronkowski said.  “They’ve got a lot of great players on defense. They know how to play the game of football super well. They’re physically and mentally tough and they bring it. They can hit hard, they can play hard, they can cover, so we’ve got to be prepared.”"

Gronkowski also said that he doesn’t think the offense will be out of sync.  He thinks the hard work and preparation the team puts in every week will pay off and the team should see no setback or slow start.

On Jimmy Graham

When asked about the other dynamic tight end who will be across the field, Gronkowski said he has nothing but respect for Jimmy Graham as a player on the field and also admires the way he has bounced back from injury.

"“I have a super high level of respect for Jimmy Graham, especially with what happened to him last year and the way he came back and bounced back,” Gronkowski said when asked about his respect level for the Seahawks tight end.  “I’ve been through it a little bit too just like him with an injury and the way he bounced back, you’ve got to give him a high praise. It’s not easy to come back from that, so it’s always good to see another fellow tight end be doing super well and come back from an injury like that.”"

On his music video

Rob Gronkowski had a little fun singing in a Madden music video.  In a lighthearted moment, he was asked if teammate Martellus Bennett was jealous that he got a music video before he did.  While he didn’t give a direct response, he did talk a little bit about the video.

"“The Madden one? You saw that? Yeah, that was pretty cool,” Gronkowski said.  “Madden did a great job, [it was a] great concept they did. I definitely enjoyed shooting that music video and thought it came out super well, so pick me on your Madden team. That’s the main focus of it.”"
