Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas has let his frustrations show by questioning his head coach.

Are things beginning to go south for the Boston Celtics?  Injuries combined with sloppy play the last few games has resulted in star point guard Isaiah Thomas not only voicing his frustration, but questioning the coaching decisions of head coach Brad Stevens.

The Celtics haven’t played particularly well coming out of the All-Star break.  Despite a big victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers and an impressive showing against the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston has struggled.  Thomas and crew followed up a heartbreaking loss to the Phoenix Suns with an equally frustrating loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

With the Golden State Warriors next on the horizon, things don’t look to be getting better on this current West coast road trip.  Now add Thomas voicing his frustration and things are suddenly now looking as green for the team that holds the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Following the team blowing a 13-point lead to the Clippers, Thomas shared a few thoughts about the coaching decisions of Stevens.

"“We should have won this game,” Thomas told reporters, via ESPN.com.  “We should have won (Sunday) night (in Phoenix.)  We can’t be experimenting in Game (63).”"

With that comment, Thomas appeared to have an issue with the lineups Stevens threw out on the court both Sunday and Monday.  Due to injuries to Al Horford and the absence of Avery Bradley on Sunday, the Boston Celtics coach had to try to find lineups that worked.

Perhaps Thomas’ overall frustration has something to do with his own playing time and the fact that the team didn’t add much help at the trade deadline (he should blame Danny Ainge for that).

In all, now is not the time to get frustrated with teammates and coaches.  Thomas needs to show he can be the leader the Celtics need him to be and not just when things are going great.  The last thing this team needs is a spat between their star player and their young head coach.
