As the NFL season approaches fans will begin to prepare for their fantasy football seasons. If these New England Patriots are on the board you should pick them for your team.

Fantasy football. The best fantasy sport of them all. Fans become GM’s and try to construct their own NFL dream team. The New England Patriots seem to have as much success on the virtual field as they do on the actual gridiron.

Thanks to the New England’s high scoring offense, players are near the top of the fantasy leaderboards. The Patriots will have a new look offense this season with some familiar faces no longer being with the franchise.

So here are the top 5 Patriots you should draft in fantasy football this season.

5. Chris Hogan

Chris Hogan is a great receiver, but his production comes in bunches. There would be games where he would only garner a single point and then some he would be the Patriots leading receiver.

Hogan has also dealt with a lot of injuries. He missed 7 games last season due to injury.

Hogan does have some serious upside this season. With Julian Edelman possibly being suspended for the first 4 games, Hogan would be the Patriots No.1 wideout. This would mean that he would get a lot more targets than he is used too. If Hogan gets off to a hot start with Tom Brady he could have a career year.

Hogan is expected to score 128.2 fantasy points this season and is ranked 34th among all wide receivers.

Hogan is a quality No.2 receiver who could possibly put up No.1 receiver numbers if he and Brady have a connection early on.
