The New England Patriots struggled in Week 2 and will be looking to have a much better effort in Week 3. Here are 3 players you should keep an eye on.

New England Patriots fans should be excited this week. The Patriots head to Detroit to faceoff against Matt Patricia and the Lions. Fans will be seeing a few familiar faces and it should be a good game.

After a tough loss in Week 2, I am expecting a much better performance in Week 3. The Patriots are known for having great games after a big loss.

The Patriots have continued to make some moves this week. The roster seems like it’s always changing. Fans will be getting their first look at some new guys on Sunday night.

So here are 3 players you should watch in Week 3.

1. Josh Gordon

New England Patriots fans are on the edge of their seats. The Patriots wideouts struggled mightily in Week 2. So much so that Bill Belichick went ahead and traded for Josh Gordon.

Gordon seems to be in trouble a lot, but maybe the Patriots can change that. Gordon’s locker is right next to Tom Brady’s locker and he has already been complimented for the hard work he is putting in. Bill Belichick even said that he has “picked up a lot.”

I’ll be intrigued to see how much Gordon plays. If he really has picked up the playbook I expect him to play a lot. Gordon will be a deep threat who could add a new element to the Patriots offense.

Tom Brady may have a new favorite player to throw to (watch out Julian Edelman).
