Boston Celtics star Kemba Walker gets a taste of the playoffs.

While the night belonged to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Kemba didn’t have to put the team on his shoulders, which makes him a more dangerous player as the team goes deeper in the playoffs.
Entering the game and series riding on his knee holding up, Kemba Walker made his own contributions in the game scoring 11 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter with the game on the line.
Again, he didn’t have to completely shine with the way both Tatum and Brown played on the night, but he was able to pick his spots and showcase his veteran leadership when needed. But, with the way a player like Kemba Walker can catch fire, he does have the ability to take over a game.
With the status of Gordon Hayward unknown and the defensive effort of the 76ers expected to be geared at limiting Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Kemba will get his looks and hopefully for the Boston Celtics, he will be that lethal scorer down the stretch of games that he is known to be.
Not a huge game by Kemba Walker in Game 1, but a game that showed that he can sit back and let the young stars shine and pick his spots in taking over a game.
