No. 1: Mark Wahlberg

If the life of Julian Edelman was made into a movie, actor and avid New England Patriots fan Mark Wahlberg would be perfect for the role.

Not only do they have a slight resemblance, but the native Bostonian is some passionate about his football team that he would play the role with the same tenacity and passion that Edelman displays on the football field.

Not to take anything away from Chris Evans, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as hometown fans, but man Wahlberg has basically become the human mascot for the organization.

Mark Wahlberg missed the New England Patriots greatest comeback

However, he did miss the team’s epic Super Bowl LI comeback against the Atlanta Falcons.  But, according to Wahlberg that was because of his sick kid who may have become ill after watching the Patriots fall down 28-3 to the Falcons.

Yes, family comes before football, so we have to give Wahlberg a pass on that one because even the biggest of superfans miss a game once in a while.

In any event, given the outcome of that particular game, Wahlberg has to be kicking himself for walking out of the game early.

As hefty as a bet as he put on his favorite team to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIII, a bigger bet could be placed on Wahlberg sticking around if he knew Tom Brady, Edelman and his boys were about to make an epic comeback.

You see, even the biggest of fans must learn never to give up on the New England Patriots.
