4. Joseph Forte – 2001, First Round, 21st Pick
What a picture! Forte was the golden child at North Carolina and was a personal favorite of mine. Hearing that he was drafted by Boston that late in the draft made C’s fans feel like they got away with robbery. Unfortunately, it turns out that Forte’s rookie contract was larceny and he was out of the league two years after the draft. Forte represents the draft of the pre-Danny Ainge regime in Boston and he isn’t alone from his unique draft-class.
