Eddie Lacy had a lot of hype coming into the 2014 NFL season, being widely considered as a first round fantasy football draft pick.
However, Lacy failed to impress in week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks, only gaining 34 yards on 12 attempts, with 15 of those yards coming from one rush. While that may be chalked up to facing the vaunted Seahawks defense in Seattle, the road will not get much easier, as Green Bay welcomes the New York Jets.
After one week, the Jets are first in the league in opposing rushing yards allowed, only giving up 25 yards on the ground to the Oakland Raiders. Even though Lacy was cleared of his concussion and has returned to the practice field, don’t expect many big numbers coming from him in week two.
