It is Week 2 of the NFL season, which means just another opportunity to lose money gambling on some NFL football!!

And yes there will be a different picture of a cheerleader, or perhaps a group of them each and every week…

Below will be each game with the spreads, as well as the team highlighted in BOLD, which will be my pick for this Sunday. There will be a tally of how awful I do and then when I write an article begging for more money, everyone will have a point of reference as to why.

Week 2:

Pittsburgh Steelers (+2.5) at Baltimore Ravens (-2.5) – Loss

Detroit Lions (+2.5) at Carolina Panthers (-2.5)

Miami Dolphins (PK) at Buffalo Bills (PK)

Jacksonville Jaguars (+6) at Washington (-6)

Dallas Cowboys (+3) at Tennessee Titans (-3)

Arizona Cardinals (-2.5) at New York Giants (+2.5)

New England Patriots (No Line) at Minnesota Vikings (No Line) – Will probably take the Pats no matter the spread.

New Orleans Saints (-7) at Cleveland Browns (+7)

Atlanta Falcons (+5.5) at Cincinnati Bengals (-5.5)

St. Louis Rams (+6) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6)

Seattle Seahawks (-6) at San Diego Chargers (+6)

Houston Texans (-3) at Oakland Raiders (+3)

New York Jets (+7.5) at Green Bay Packers (-7.5)

Kansas City Chiefs (+13) at Denver Broncos (-13)

Chicago Bears (+7) at San Francisco 49ers (-7)

Cam Newton‘s first game definitely carries intrigue, but Detroit looks hungry this year and I think they come away with the victory…Miami looked really good on defense last week, and so did Buffalo, so I am just picking Ryan Tannehill over E.J. Manuel…If Washington doesn’t beat Jacksonville at home by a TD, something is very wrong in the nation’s capital…This game against the Titans is a classic game Dallas wins in the beginning of the year. If it were after December 1st, then it would be a different story…Arizona is just much better than Eli Manning and the Giants, next question…Barring a line of say +15, the Patriots should be able to avoid an 0-2 start against an offense that will be limited without Adrian Peterson…New Orleans defense looked bad at home last week, but I expect Rob Ryan to tweak them enough to win by 10 in Cleveland…Matt Ryan struggles on the road, and if we see him explode this Sunday then it could be time to say Atlanta is a title contender…The Bucs and Rams looked really bad for most of last Sunday, but the Bucs showed what they are capable of in the second half against a good defense in Carolina. They can do the same against a high-quality defense like the one the Rams will throw at them today…Win or lose, the Chargers just find a way to covers spreads…Yes, I will gladly take three points and the Texans against the NCAA-equivalent Raiders…Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers will not be going 0-2 and I don’t think the Jets score enough to keep it close…Denver Broncos by 17 over KC sounds alright to me…If you want good odds on your money, take the Bears to win this week in San Francisco. The Niners should’ve scored 40 against Dallas last week and Chicago is an underrated road team.
