2014 has been an incredibly dismal season, testing the resolve of Red Sox players and fans alike. Despite the lack of wins on the season, there are reasons for hope.

The Red Sox have gotten great production from their recent call-ups, which include highly-touted prospects, and the front office has given their fan base hope through their trade deadline fire-sale return, and their seemingly eager approach to the upcoming offseason.

The Boston Red Sox organization does not seem to be extinct, yet it seems to be only dormant, waiting to erupt yet again.
