We may have to do a bracket of which cheerleader picture is best, but for now you’ll have to settle for my gambling picks for Week 3 of the NFL season.
Here are my picks for Week 3:
San Diego Chargers (+1) at Buffalo Bills (-1)
Dallas Cowboys (-1) at St. Louis Rams (+1)
Washington (+5.5) at Philadelphia Eagles (-5.5)
Houston Texans (+1) at New York Giants (-1)
Minnesota Vikings (+10) at New Orleans Saints (-10)
Tennessee Titans (+7) at Cincinnati Bengals (-7)
Baltimore Ravens (-2) at Cleveland Browns (+2)
Green Bay Packers (+2.5) at Detroit Lions (-2.5)
Indianapolis Colts (-7) at Jacksonville Jaguars (+7)
Oakland Raiders (+14) at New England Patriots (-14)
San Francisco 49ers (-3) at Arizona Cardinals (+3)
Denver Broncos (+5) at Seattle Seahawks (-5)
Kansas City Chiefs (+3.5) at Miami Dolphins (-3.5)
Pittsburgh Steelers (+3) at Carolina Panthers (-3)
Chicago Bears (+2.5) at New York Jets (-2.5)
Buffalo seems to have it figured out from a structure and preparation standpoint this season. The running game and the defense will cause enough problems for the traveling Chargers to help them move to 3-0…Many people have the Rams winning this one but DeMarco Murray owns the Rams and Dallas should win by at least a FG and give Austin Davis problems…Philly just has to keep it close in the first half as Chip Kelly has been the king of the second half this season and Kirk Cousins still has a lot to prove as the starter in Washington…The Giants are just a bad offensive team and Eli Manning will be reintroducing himself to J.J. Watt over and over…In the Super Dome, the Saints usually cover, even double-digit lines. After last week’s let down, look for them to take advantage of a distracted and disheartened Vikings club that was embarrassed last Sunday…This game I would not bet on in general, but if I have to chose I go with the Bengals, who looked better offensively last week without A.J. Green than anyone could imagine…Brian Hoyer and Joe Flacco both have their work cut out for them this week, but I believe the Ravens are better than people think and will win pretty handily…NFC North Division matchup sees the Packers top the Lions in an “upset” today. The Pack offense looked fantastic in the second half and the Lions will need to protect Stafford against the Green Bay pass rush in what will be a shootout…Andrew Luck won’t have a let down again this week, but beware of the back-door cover from Jacksonville as the Colts have let late leads dwindle…The line in the Pats/Raiders game isn’t high enough frankly…Colin Kaepernick is hearing from his doubters lately after his poor game against the Bears, but look for him to use his legs more and for the Niners to hold onto the football as long as possible in what should be a low-scoring, tight contest…Denver, meet Seattle at home and not in a neutral site. That pass rush is going to want to crush Peyton Manning before he can even make it to December…The Chiefs are a mess on defense while the ‘Fins are hurting on offense a bit. I envy neither of these fan bases and I expect Miami to come away with a victory as KC tries to tie the game up with a TD in the closing minutes…Pittsburgh’s defense looks young and lost, while the Panthers look just as good this year on that side of the ball…The New York Jets are not a very good football team and after the Bears win last week, I am not sure how this line is just 2.5.
