My NFL Week 7 picks didn’t get off to the best start Thursday night, but there’s still a chance for redemption with this Sunday’s slate of games.
Here are my picks for NFL Week 7:
Cincinnati Bengals (+3) at Indianapolis Colts (-3)
Tennessee Titans (+5.5) at Washington (-5.5)
Miami Dolphins (+3) at Chicago Bears (-3)
Cleveland Browns (-5) at Jacksonville Jaguars (+5)
Seattle Seahawks (-6) at St. Louis Rams (+6)
Carolina Panthers (+6.5) at Green Bay Packers (-6.5)
Atlanta Falcons (+6.5) at Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)
Minnesota Vikings (+6) at Buffalo Bills (-6)
New Orleans Saints (+2) at Detroit Lions (-2)
Kansas City Chiefs (+3.5) at San Diego Chargers (-3.5)
New York Giants (+6) at Dallas Cowboys (-6)
Arizona Cardinals (-3.5) at Oakland Raiders (+3.5)
San Francisco 49ers (+7) at Denver Broncos (-7)
The Bengals offense has still been good without A.J. Green, but the Colts offense has been rolling all season long and Andrew Luck is terrific at home, so the Bungals better beware of a shootout…Not sure how Washington gets nearly six points here, but they could squeak out a cover if the Titans decide to throw out there rookie quarterback a bit early…Chicago continues to be the same team it has been for the last year or so, which is why they should blowout Miami and instill faith in their fans for just one week as usual…Are the Seahawks vulnerable? The Rams usually play them well at home and we could be looking at an upset…Cam Newton is getting better with each game and if the Packers don’t stop the Panthers running game, it won’t turn into the shootout they want it to be…Baltimore at home is devastating and Atlanta is atrocious at home. Really as simple as that…The pass defense of the Bills could have a field day with Teddy Bridgewater. Look for a lot of confusing blitzes and cover schemes to get the rookie to turn it over…This is a game I would stay away from, but with Calvin Johnson still out the Lions offense has been mediocre at best. New Orleans needs this one badly and Drew Brees usually pulls these types of games out…Continue to ride the San Diego train until it derails. They didn’t cover last week, which means they should be able to keep the Chiefs offense in check because frankly they can’t be that bad on defense two weeks in a row right?…The loss of Victor Cruz is key in this matchup as he torches the Cowboys. We may see Dallas try and air it out against a weak Giants secondary…Arizona should clobber this Oakland offense and I think they will, but Derek Carr showed moxie last week…Seven points for the Niners is a lot, but of course watch the Broncos win 42-14 just to anger gamblers all over the world.
