NFL Week 8 Picks!!!

My NFL Week 8 Picks could propel my gambling season in the right direction, if I can build off last week’s success and make a bit more coin this Sunday.

Here are my picks for this week’s action:

Minnesota Vikings (+2.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5)

Chicago Bears (+6) at New England Patriots (-6)

St. Louis Rams (+7) at Kansas City Chiefs (-7)

Seattle Seahawks (-6) at Carolina Panthers (+6)

Buffalo Bills (+3) at New York Jets (-3)

Miami Dolphins (-6.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars (+6.5)

Houston Texans (-3.5) at Tennessee Titans (+3.5)

Baltimore Ravens (-2) at Cincinnati Bengals (+2)

Philadelphia Eagles (+1) at Arizona Cardinals (-1)

Indianapolis Colts (-3.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5)

Oakland Raiders (+7) at Cleveland Browns (-7)

Green Bay Packers (-2.5) at New Orleans Saints (+2.5)

Minnesota has played better than most people think this season and Tampa doesn’t have much of a home-field advantage, so Teddy Bridgewater shouldn’t be too freaked out down in Florida…Tom Brady and that offense are looking fantastic and the Bears’ defense isn’t getting any better as the season goes on. Chicago is very good on the road, but I think the Patriots continue their winning streak with a ton of points…A let-down game for the Rams after their big win over Seattle. The defense needs to put pressure on Alex Smith, otherwise KC will have the ball for most of the game…Putting my faith in a bounce-back effort by Russell Wilson and his cast of wide receivers. This is a good game for Marshawn Lynch to remind his OC how tough of a runner he is…Give me Geno Smith at home against a Bills team that has no running backs and leans on Kyle Orton…Miami has been exceptional on both sides of the ball in the last two weeks and Jacksonville, who is coming off their first win of the year, still looked lost on offense. Blake Bortles isn’t showing me enough to not bet against him…With a rookie quarterback making his first start for the Titans, I have to go with J.J. Watt and that defense to at least win, so why not take the points?…A must-win for Cincinnati this week against their division rivals. The defense needs to step up and keep Joe Flacco out of the end zone…yes I know what I just said…Carson Palmer should tear up the Eagles defense in Arizona, which is one of the toughest places to play in the NFL. Add in the Eagles traveling east and that is a good recipe for a win for the Cards…Andrew Luck and a swiss-cheese defense in Pittsburgh, yeah I’ll take the Colts. Doesn’t hurt that Indy’s D was fantastic last week against the Bengals…Brian Hoyer is beginning his downfall and Johnny Manziel is quietly plotting…New Orleans defense may give up 40 points tonight, and they aren’t going to score 37, so I’ll take the Packers in the Dome.
