Ray Rice indicted

After allegedly striking his wife in February of 2014, Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday for third degree aggravated assault. Rice was initially arrested and charged with assault on February 15th after an altercation with his fiancée, Janay Palmer at the Revel Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, but on March 27th a grand jury indicted the Ravens running back. Later on in the year shocking footage came out of the incident that took place in the elevator of the hotel where it shows Rice assaulting his fiancée. Rice was suspended by the NFL after being indicted, and has not played a game this season.
