This year’s NFL Draft is loaded with talent across the board and should make for a very interesting few days for fans of each team. The scouting combine is about to kick off with many of top prospect’s proving their value to NFL teams. The draft will also be undergoing a change in venue, as the location shifts from New York to Chicago.
NFL Mock Drafts are quite popular among the Internet as fans always crave to see who people think their favorite team will land come May. Each team has needs that need to be addressed in the off-season and the draft provides them a chance to fill those holes among the roster. Mock Drafts are also not a surefire indicator of what direction a team will go. Many things could change from now until the Draft as the combine and free agency both loom on the horizon. Players can drastically improve their stock or drastically reduce their stock with their combine performances. There could be guys who are graded as fifth round picks entering the combine who show out and sneak into the first round discussion.
Mock Drafts are always fun to read and end up sparking great discussions. Remember, that it is very early in the process and you might not be able to predict which players rise or slide right now. It would also be hard to predict draft day trades at this point, so there will be no trades included.
