52. <p>Jacksonville’s first-round pick last year, quarterback Blake Bortles, needs protection on the line in order to continue his development. Without any blockers, it will be a long and eventful season for Bortles going into his second season. The Jaguars are pretty solid on the left side of the line with Luke Joeckel and Zane Beadles penciled in at LT and LG, respectively. The right side of the offensive line is another story for the Jags. Scherff could step in and start from day one at right guard and help stabilize the offensive line.
