The Falcons are coming off a season in which they were one win away from a playoff appearance. Not many teams with a 6-10 record could say that, it was just a very unusual year for the NFC South. Randy Gregory falling to this pick would excite the Falcons front office who need another pass rusher to help solidify that defense. Gregory, who measures at six-foot-six, is a tall edge rusher who is strong at the point of attack. The Cornhusker was a force to be reckoned with in the Big-12 last season recording seven sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss. He also has enough speed to chase down receivers and running backs which would fit well in the NFC South, which is chock full of speedy receivers.
. DE/OLB. Nebraska. Randy Gregory. 8. player. 44
