And as I mentioned the Athletics in the previous page, A’s third basemen Josh Donaldson comes in at number one in our rankings of MLB third basemen in 2015. Donaldson had a productive last year in Oakland batting .255 with 29 home runs and 98 RBI’s. Last season was also the first season that Donaldson was elected to the All-Star Game in Minnesota.
For 2015, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Donaldson as he tries to get the Athletics back to the postseason for a fourth consecutive season. The pitching certainly is a question for the A’s, but their lineup remains the same (sans Yoenis Cespedes) so it’ll be interesting to see how they begin their season and if a player like Donaldson can break out in 2015.
