St. Louis Rams at Arizona Cardinals

The defense has been great, and Carson Palmer looks like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL as the Cardinals have raced to a 3-0 start. They are a great team with legitimate Super Bowl upside. The Rams have some talent, and will give the Cardinals a fight, but they do not have enough to overcome Arizona at home. Give me Palmer and the Cardinals in this one.

Prediction: Cardinals 31, Rams 21

Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos

After a sluggish start to the season, the Broncos have gotten back on track, and still appear to be among the AFC elite at 3-0. Peyton Manning is not the same quarterback he once was, but if the Broncos allow him to run his offense, he will still be very good. The Broncos’ rushing attack is not doing him any favors, but Manning is helped out by an incredible Broncos’ defense that is arguably the best in the entire NFL.

The Vikings have ground their way to a 2-1 record, mostly on the back of a returning Adrian Peterson, who looks fresh and rejuvenated. The Vikings’ defense is legit, and will give Manning issues, but he will give them just enough as the Broncos’ defense will dominate. Peterson will get his, but they will not be able to move the ball with any sort of consistency.

Prediction: Broncos 24, Vikings 14
