Don Sweeney was hired this off season as the General Manager of the Boston Bruins, after Peter Chiarelli left town to work with the Edmonton Oilers. While Sweeney has already done a lot of work since taking the job, he will have more moves to make as the season continues.

The primary focus should be looking to add guys to the blue line, after the departure of Dougie Hamilton the Bruins are still looking for his replacement.

That’s where Don Sweeney comes in and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him look to move guys with expiring contracts (Chris Kelly, and Loui Eriksson) in hopes of adding depth and talent to the blue line.
