David Lee

What is wrong with David Lee? The answer is very simple, nothing. As Draymond Green turned into a star player for the Golden State Warriors, Lee saw his role diminish last season. A guy who has had some injury concerns in his career, this rest may be the best thing for him and Celtics fans alike.

In his brief playing time in the Finals, Lee shot 53% from the field and proved to still be a force on the offensive end. A two-time NBA all-star, Lee will be given another chance to be featured on this Celtics’ team.

Everybody who watches and follows NBA basketball knows how good David Lee can be and has been. If Lee can maintain his health, look for him to become a focal point of the Celtics offense. The Celtics acquired him this off season to form a very deep front court. Just two years ago, Lee averaged over 18 points and 9 rebounds per game. The success of Lee is the most important part of the Celtics’ season.
