Grade: A-

Tom Brady was without his top four pass catchers for a good chunk of this game. He wasn’t his sharpest, but all things considered, Brady played well. The snow certainly didn’t help, but Brady remained accurate on most passes inside of 25 yards.

Most of the time, there simply was not anybody open for Brady to throw to. He threw the ball 42 times, and tossed three touchdown passes. Brady was very secure with the ball, as he did not have an interception, or come very close to one for that matter.

The most impressive thing from Brady is that he did it against one of the NFL’s best defenses. The Broncos were able to get consistent pressure on Brady, and they have a strong secondary.

If he can have a good game against an elite secondary with a patchwork offense, the Patriots should be fine against weaker teams in the upcoming weeks.
