Offensive Line

Grade: B-

After a tough performance Monday night against the Bills, the offensive line bounced back to have a solid game against a good defensive line. This improvement is probably in large part to the coaching staff switched Marcus Cannon and Sebastian Vollmer to right and left tackle, respectively.

For the most part, they were able to keep Brady upright, although he was sacked 3 times. With a decimated receiver group, it was important for them to give Brady as much time as they could so that he could find an open player.

They were less effective in the run game, as Denver’s defense was often able to penetrate and stop the backs for little to no gain. The line struggled to get any push, which forced Josh McDaniels to all but abandon the run game late.

Not a perfect performance, but an improvement, and signs of promise moving forward.
