1. Al Horford

You had to know this one was coming.  Horford has been tied to the Celtics for a few weeks now, and there’s no question that Boston would love to have him.  Atlanta’s asking price is super high for the 29 year old, but it’s possible by the deadline that price will go down.  Horford has been averaging 15 points, seven rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game this season, making him a very interesting player for Boston.  After being drafted 3rd overall in 2007 by the Hawks, Horford has had a squeaky clean record and there’s no doubt that he could help lead this younger Celtics team.  It’s been reported that Isaiah Thomas may have talked to Horford and convinced him to sign with the Celtics this summer, but that remains to be seen.  If Boston can get their hands on Al Horford without giving up key assets like Smart, Bradley, Thomas or Crowder, then they just might challenge Cleveland for that Eastern Conference crown.
