See this trade also makes sense as well, it just depends how much more the Celtics would have to give up. Hayward was Brad Stevens best player at Butler University, so the chemistry is already there. Not to mention Hayward is a 20 PPG player in this league, and would shine playing aside players such as Thomas, Bradley, Crowder, and Johnson. You saw the Celtics lose time and time again last season on not being able to put the ball in the basket, and constantly be out-rebounded by teams around the league. You bring a 6-8 small forward like Hayward into Boston and he will do a lot of right come 2016-17.
