What can Celtics fans make of this year’s draft?

Cue the torches and pitchforks.

Boston fans aren’t notorious for malcontent towards management (Bill Belichick has approval ratings just north of Dunkin Donuts around these parts), but Danny Ainge may want to walk to his car with a buddy the next few days.

In all honesty, I didn’t hate this draft. We didn’t get the big name guys some were hoping for, but we didn’t blow all our assets chasing a dream, either.

The C’s have a very solid team in place already, with ample cap space to buy a star in free agency. No need to oversell on draft night just for the sake of name recognition– except for, that is, Paul George or Gordon Hayward. Either of them come here and I’m buying my parade tickets for 2017.

So how’d Boston do with the picks that we held on to? That’s obviously open to debate, but here’s how I see it:
