New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says he likes everyone, including the man responsible for his four-game suspension.

Tom Brady is one forgiving man.  Appearing on the Kirk and Callahan Show Monday morning, the Patriots quarterback took some time to address the possibility of holding a grudge against those seemingly out to tarnish his respectability.

One of those entities includes ESPN.  The sports network appeared to be on the side of the NFL during the Deflategate controversy.  So it was a bit surprising when the network offered Brady a one-on-one interview following the Patriots 35-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday.  Perhaps even more surprising was the answer Brady gave Kirk and Callahan when asked if he still held a grudge.

I do know a lot of things are asked to do on a weekly basis. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t,” Brady said via WEEI. “I wouldn’t say I’ve done a ton of things over the years. Even going back to five or seven years ago, I’m not somebody you see a lot of the Sunday Night Football’s prelims and stuff like that. I do try and conserve my energy, I’ll say that. I realize I need my energy for my team and my teammates. The more you do the less time you have to prepare. Sometimes it takes five minutes, but when there are five things that are asked of you that are five minutes it becomes a lot longer than that. I’m just kind of playing it by ear to be truthful.”"

Brady went on to say that he really tries to move on and continue being the quarterback he is.  And as much as he does recognize those who dislike him, he realizes that there are so many who  have supported him as a player for the past 17 years.  The future Hall-of-Fame quarterback still lets his play on the field do his talking.

Coming off another stellar performance against the Bengals, Brady is doing just that.  He threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns in the team’s win. Seemingly, the four-game suspension is behind him.  But what about any lingering feelings of animosity for NFL commissioner Roger Goodell?

After he commented about liking those who don’t like him, he was asked if there was anyone he doesn’t like.  He answered “no,” and was quickly asked about someone with the initials “R.G.”
