Boston Bruins Assign Forward Austin Czarnik To Providence
By Justin Doyle
Boston Bruins send down Austin Czarnik and will hold opening night celebrations.
Boston Bruins rookie Center Austin Czarnik has been sent to to the Providence Bruins. This is due to star center Patrice Bergeron coming back from injury.
Czarnik had 2 penalty minutes and point in the 2 games he played for Boston Bruins.
"Julien on Czarnik: “He had a tremendous camp and we want him to go down and play … There’s a good chance you will see him here again.”— Boston Bruins (@NHLBruins) October 20, 2016"
Czarnik played on the fourth line with some other new Bruins, Dominic Moore, Riley Nash, and Tim Schaller. It is nice to know that his reason for going back down is that Bergeron is coming back, although it is a little bitter sweet to see young talent have to go back to Providence.
The Return of Patrice Bergeron
Patrice Bergeron will be returning from injury tonight. He had missed the past three games due to a lower-body injury.
Patrice Bergeron returning to the ice will be a much needed energy boost for the team. Hopefully he can help the Bruins put forward a full 60 minute effort and propel them to their second win in a row.
