The Boston Cannons are led by Will Manny, Justin Turri and Max Seibald. Manny is entering his fifth MLL season, all with Boston. The Cannons Attackman has 106 goals and 67 assists in 50 career games. Veteran Midfielders Turri and Seibald make their mark on offense as well. Combined, they tallied 34 goals and 16 assists over the 2016 season.
Goaltender Tyler Fiorito will remain the Cannon’s starter in net for 2017. In 2016, he went just 8-6, but had a solid 54% save percentage. Fiorito will look to elevate to his 2015 numbers in which he saved 60.6%.
Noted lacrosse fan Bill Belichick will also be involved in the 2017 Boston Cannons season. The New England Patriots head coach will continue his partnership with the team through the Bill Belichick Foundation. The BBF will provide 75 tickets per home game and VIP experiences to players and families from local New England lacrosse communities.
In the foundation’s press release to announce the launch, Belichick said that his goals included recognition, support, and finances for those with strong potential who might need a little help.
"“Mentorship has been ingrained in our family and we take a team approach to just about everything we do,” said Belichick in the foundation’s release."
