The Boston Red Sox are one of the most beloved, strongest, and most recognized teams in all of professional sports. Players come and go, but these are the 50 best.

Babe Ruth? Carl Yastrzemski? David Ortiz? Ted Williams? Pedro Martinez? Who is the greatest Boston Red Sox of all time? We seek to settle that debate below, but we know you’ll disagree. If you think someone was missed, or that players are seeded too high or low, let us know in the comments!

The team has had a huge number of super star players, with great history. Some, were unable to bring a championship to Boston, until the curse was reversed in 2004. Of course members of that 2004 team crack the list, but there are also plenty from the 1900’s, and the days between titles.
