The TB12 Method

First off, that picture is awesome. It looks like Brady is about to enter a WWE cage match. He’s walking above the fans, which is a metaphor for his physical and emotional dominance over every other human being to walk this earth.

Every fan is looking up at him, cell phones out taking a pictures of him. No criticism on that front, it’s the only logical reaction to seeing a super hero up close and personal.

Once the game started, Brady proved once again why he’s the greatest quarterback in the history of football.

Brady completed 30 of 37 passes for 337 yards and 3 TDs. Impressive, right? The stat line does it no justice.

Brady was raining down an ungodly firestorm on the Raiders defense. Talking scorched earth, baby. He picked them apart and left their remains for the buzzards.

He began the game with a tribute to the number on his jersey, completing all 12 of his first 12 passes. TB12-for-12 was just getting warmed up.

Then he showed us why he’s so good. He threw his first incomplete pass early in the second quarter. When the camera focused in on him, he barked a single word at himself. Four letters, expletive, I think you know what I’m talking about.

Near perfection just isn’t good enough for Tom. After the incompletion he made a quick adjustment and completed his next pass to Rob Gronkowski for a big gain. That’s the TB12 difference.

While I would have loved to see a perfect stat line, Brady’s performance will do. He’s the GOAT for a reason, and he shows it every time he steps onto a football field.
