BOSTON, MA – MARCH 30: David Pastrnak /

7. David Pastrnak, Bruins

David Pastrnak is an offensive mastermind. The 21-year old is already in his 4th season with the Bruins, and in 191 games played he has 69 goals and 71 assists for 140 points. Pasta is +19 in his career so far, even though that includes the -7 through 19 games this season. He’s always a threat on the power play, and he’s going to find ways to score no matter what.

This September David Pastrnak signed a six-year $40 million deal that will keep him in black and gold through 2023. The future is right for hockey in Boston. The #88 could one day be retired in the TD Garden rafters.

6. Andrew Benintendi, Red Sox

Left fielder Andrew Benintendi finished second in AL Rookie of the Year voting behind Yankees slugger Aaron Judge. In a normal year where a rookie doesn’t hit as many bombs as Judge did, Benny would have taken the award home easily.

In 2017, Benintendi hit .271 with 20 home runs and 90 RBI. He also drew 70 walks and stole 20 bases. In all of the Red Sox rumors this offseason, few players are off the table, but Andrew Benintendi is one of those guys. He’s untouchable, as he should be, and the Red Sox know they can count on him in their outfield for many more seasons.
