New England Patriots: 5 observations from Week 14 loss to Dolphins

O-Line Woes
The offensive line got absolutely manhandled Monday night. I haven’t seen a line handled so easily since I watched Wolf of Wall Street with my parents a few years back. It was uncomfortable to say the least. How about that Margot Robbie though? Phenomenal.
The Dolphins defensive line looked like the ‘85 Bears, and that’s not because of how talented they are. The New England Patriots let them through and Brady was under pressure all night.
The frequently collapsed pocket doesn’t excuse Brady from all his miscues, but it certainly pardons some of them.
Joe Thuney was noticeably weak and got beat time and time again. It was ugly on all fronts.
"Ndamukong Suh even said it was easy. He said “They do a great job and they run the same offense. Once you pick up on that and you don’t make a lot of mistakes, it’s pretty simple to stop it.”"
And stop it they did.
Sure, the Patriots were missing two great blockers in offensive tackle Marcus Cannon and tight end Rob Gronkowski, but that’s no excuse for such a poor performance. They’ll need to improve next week if they want to earn the top seed in the AFC.
