Keep Your Heads Up

To quote the great Tupac Shakur, “baby don’t cry, you gotta keep your head up, even when the road is hard, never give up”.

To quote the great Rocky Balboa, “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward”.

Should I keep going? No? Alright, but just know that I could.

During and after Monday night’s game, I saw a ton of pessimism fromNew England Patriots nation. On Twitter, Facebook, and via text message, most of the fanbase was devastated.

They’re justified in being angry, but pessimism can’t carry on for as long as it has.

The Patriots are the best team in the NFL, even after losing to the Dolphins. Yeah, they didn’t look great, but did they look great against the Chiefs to start the season? No.

Then they went on a little 10-1 run. I expect nothing less from Brady, Belichick, and McDaniels. We’re getting Gronk back, and we’re getting our mojo back.

This is when the season gets fun.
