AFC Playoff Seeding Predictions

1. New England Patriots

2. Pittsburgh Steelers

3. Jacksonville Jaguars

4. Kansas City Chiefs

5. Baltimore Ravens

6. Los Angeles Chargers

It definitely seems like the New England Patriots will be the top-seed in the AFC, and that would cement the Pittsburgh Steelers in at #2. The #3 and #4 seeds are already set, and Baltimore will definitely find a way to win to get that #5 seed.

Next: Patriots sign James Harrison

The real question as week 17 approaches is the #6 seed in the AFC. The Titans, Chargers, and Bills all have a legitimate shot at the spot, and it will be fun to watch those three games to see how things play out. In my opinion, the Chargers will steal it away. The Chargers will beat the Raiders, and the Titans will lose to the Jaguars. So, even though I think the Bills will beat the Dolphins to get to 9-7, they’ll miss out on the playoffs. The tie-breaker in this scenario will go to Los Angeles, and they will sneak their way into the playoffs behind the arm of Phillip Rivers.
