10. OT/G/C Isaiah Wynn, Georgia

At 6’2″ 302lbs, Isaiah Wynn is undersized as Georgia’s left tackle, but he’s versatile and we know Bill Belichick loves linemen that can play anywhere. He has the ability to play guard or center, and working with Dante Scarnecchia could be just what Wynn needs to excel. He’s projected to go in the 2nd or 3rd round, and New England would probably wait for him to slide into that 3rd round rather than taking a huge chance on a player with a lot of work to be done.

Wynn is an impressive run blocker, getting after it with a great aggression and tenacity, but he’s mainly just serviceable as a pass protector. In the NFL, guard seems like a more logical fit for Wynn, but you never know. The Patriots seem set at guard and center with Joe Thuney, Shaq Mason, and David Andrews, but you can never have enough linemen depth in the NFL. Perhaps Wynn could be used as an extra tackle in clear running scenarios ala Cameron Fleming in the past.
