New England Patriots
NEW ORLEANS, LA – JANUARY 01: Damien Harris /

4. RB Damien Harris, Alabama

The other running back for the Alabama Crimson Tide is another option for the Patriots. He’s 5’11” and 214lbs and is projected higher than Scarbrough in the 2nd or 3rd round. Harris is averaging 7.6 yards per carry for the Tide in 2017, and he will look to continue that trend on Monday night. So far he has 983 yards on the ground and 11 rushing touchdowns. He’s limited as a pass catcher, but with James White remaining on the roster, New England doesn’t need to worry about that too much. Scouts believe Harris is a very hard worker and some have even compared him to The Muscle Hamster, Tampa Bay’s Doug Martin. With time to develop in New England, Harris could become a very serviceable running back in the NFL while also serving on multiple special teams units. The risk may be too great though with Harris if he ends up being drafted in the 2nd round this season.
