5.  The RF box

This section lands at the bottom of the list for one reason only. You are looking straight at the Green Monster. The only drawback to sitting here is that you may leave with a neck ache trying to watch the game.

Besides that, they are great seats. Especially with all of the history. The RF box is home to Pesky’s Pole, named after the great Red Sox Shortstop, Johnny Pesky. The RF foul pole is said to have first been referred to by its now famous name by former Red Sox pitcher, and broadcaster Mel Parnell. The distance from home plate to the pole is only 302 feet and Parnell would talk about how Pesky benefited from the short porch. Pesky could use all the help he could get as he wasn’t hitting 400-foot bombs. The Red Sox legend only hit 17 home runs in his entire career.

The tickets aren’t that expensive either with prices ranging from $60-80$.
