Boston Red Sox: The best places to sit at Fenway Park
By Sam Minton
4. The bleachers
The Bleachers are personally one of my favorite places to sit. It may be because they are one of the most affordable seats in the park, and as a college student that is a very big factor when I am looking to go to a game.
Still, the view from the outfield is amazing. You get to see everything, nothing is blocked from your view. Also a perk is that you get to watch the relievers warm up. Now, this may sound like nothing special, but to see a guy like Joe Kelly up close is a spectacle. His fastball blows by you at a blink of an eye. It shows you how talented Major League hitters are. I played Baseball my entire life, and can’t imagine trying to make contact.
Also you have a chance to cross something off of your bucket list… catching a home run ball. All baseball fans want to be able to do this, there’s something special about seeing a ball launch off of a bat, and realize dang it’s coming right at me. Just don’t drop it because then you may end up on SportsCenter’s Not Top 10.
