The Boston Bruins jumped out to the series lead in game 1. They played great and if they can do these 3 things they will have a 2-0 lead in the series.

Game 1 was an awesome experience for Boston Bruins fans. They completely dominated the Tampa Bay Lightning. After suffering through a 7 game series, the Bruins breezed by the Lightning. It was like they were playing a video game on rookie mode.

If the Bruins can jump out to a 2-0 series lead it will mean a lot. Yes, I know the Bruins had a 2-0 lead on the Toronto Maple Leafs, but the Bruins wouldn’t feel as much pressure. Also, the Lightning are a completely different team. The Bruins match up great against Tampa Bay. Which was pretty evident after game 1. If they can head to Boston with two games in hand it isn’t that far-fetched to think they may be able to sweep the No. 1 team in the Eastern Conference.

This Bruins team seems destined for greatness. They have the skill, they have the hard work, and most importantly they have the heart. The possibilities for this team seem endless. The Bruins will have a strong team for years to come.

Now even though the Bruins defeated the Lightning 6-2, they need to focus on some aspects of their game. It is basically impossible to play a perfect 60 minutes of hockey. So here are the three things the Boston Bruins need to focus on in game 2.
