A tale of two seasons

The Bruins had an interesting goaltending situation for about half of the season. Coming out of the gate Tuukka Rask was having one of his worst seasons as a pro. He seemed like he couldn’t stop yoga ball and was constantly out of position.

In Rask’s first 10 games of the season, he allowed 3 or more goals 7 times.  That can’t be happening. So Bruce Cassidy made the bold decision and sat Rask down for an extended period of time.

Anton Khudobin was in the midst of one of his best seasons as a pro. With Rask out Khudobin would go on a 9 game points streak and helped to keep the Bruins season afloat. He was making incredible saves, but eventually, Rask would get his job back, and he came back with a vengeance.

His best play came on his incredible 21 game point streak. He was doing all he could to help the Bruins win.
