The best line in the NHL

This season showed that the Boston Bruins have the most dominant line in the entire NHL. Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, and David Pastrnak all had fantastic seasons.

Brad Marchand was at the top of the stat sheet with 34 goals and 51 assists. Marchand continued to show how amazing a scorer he is. He has some of the best moves in the entire league and can make any defender or goaltender look silly.

Marchand put up these numbers with only 68 games under his belt. Imagine if he didn’t take that stupid hit and get suspended. It seems like you can pencil Marchand in for a suspension every season, but if he could cut out those stupid plays, and stay true to his game he may be at the top of the NHL.

Then there is David Pastrnak. “Pasta” evolved a lot as a player this season. We saw Pastrnak getting into the corners, fighting for the puck and not shying away from contact. Also we saw Pastrnak giving up the puck more and making the extra pass to give teammates a wide open net. Pastrnak had 35 goals and 45 assists this year. The best season of his still budding career.

Finally, let’s go to the straw that stirs the drink, Patrice Bergeron. Bergeron missed a good chunk of the season due to injuries, but still was one of the top scorers on the team. Bergeron only played in 64 games, but still was 3rd on the team in points with 30 goals and 33 assists.

It just seemed like the Bruins played 10 times better with Bergeron on the ice. He improves their game all over the ice and will most likely win another Selke Award.
