Boston Red Sox: Big four-game series set with Cleveland Indians

Monday August 20th 7:10 PM – Rick Porcello (15-5, 4.04) vs Corey Kluber (15-6, 2.68)
The marquee matchup of the series is Rick Porcello facing off against Corey Kluber. Both of these pitchers have won a Cy Young award in the past, with Kluber being a candidate this season. Porcello is 4-1 in his last 5 starts, while allowing 13 runs over 37.2 innings, including the complete game gem he threw at Fenway against the Yankees.
Kluber is 3-1 over his last 5 starts, allowing 9 runs in 34.1 innings. The Cleveland ace will be looking to add to his Cy Young resume by facing the best offense in baseball in their home park.
Tuesday, August 21 7:10 PM – Nathan Eovaldi (5-4, 3.62) vs Shane Bieber (6-2, 4.37)
Nathan Eovaldi has been amazing in his time with Boston. He is 2-0 with his new team, and has allowed only 5 runs in 22.2 innings. His last 2 starts have been a little shaky however, 4 runs in 2.2 innings to the weak Baltimore Orioles on August 10. His most recent start was better, giving up only 1 run in 5 innings while fanning 5 to the Philadelphia Phillies.
The bullpen ultimately blew that game. Bieber has had a very surprising rookie season, and has been a nice end of the rotation starter for the Indians. The rookie has also gone 4 games in a row with 5 strikeouts and has given up no more than 4 runs a game in that stretch.
