New England Patriots: 5 players we wish were in New England
By Sam Minton
Aaron Donald
Aaron Donald is a scary dude. The guy practices with knives and even though it was revealed they weren’t “real knives” he is still one of the scariest guys on an NFL field.
Donald seems unblockable. No one would be able to run on the Patriots if Donald was on the roster.
I don’t know why the Rams aren’t paying him he deserves all the millions. Hey Aaron we could use you here in New England feel free to come through.
Last season Donald racked up 11 sacks and forced 5 fumbles. The Patriots have been missing a guy in the middle who can clog up the run game in the middle ever since Vince Wilfork left. Donald would be an extremely athletic Wilfork clogging up the line.
As long as the Patriots would score a single touchdown, I would trust Donald and the defense to stop the offense. That’s how great he is.
There’s no problem in hoping. These players will probably never play in New England, but if they did there is no doubt they would dominate.
For now, the only way these guys will be playing in New England if you play Madden, but like Kevin Garnett said: “anything is possible.”
(Speaking of Madden, everyone here at Chowder and Champions is sending our thoughts and prayers to the victims of the horrible and senseless shooting at a Pro Madden Tournament in Jacksonville. If you would like to donate, a GoFundMe has been set up for two of the victims.)
