Not a big risk

So let’s say the New England Patriots go out and get Gordon, and he doesn’t work out, is it really that big of a deal?

The Patriots just need bodies. In Week 2 we continued to see James Devlin line out wide. That isn’t a good sign. I’m surprised we haven’t seen Matthew Slater.

Signing Gordon means you have another weapon for Tom Brady. That can’t be a bad thing.

Also if Gordon doesn’t work out it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. The Patriots have signed and released a ton of wide receivers. I’m surprised Corey Coleman lasted the week. If Gordon ends up being another casualty it isn’t the biggest tragedy.

After a poor showing by the Patriots offense in Week 2, it seems like New England could use a boost. Josh Gordon seems like the perfect move. Now we just sit back and wait. Hopefully, Gordon will be a Patriot before Week 3.
